Dr. Leonard Dauphinee is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Broadband Products at MaxLinear where he is responsible for silicon engineering development, technology direction, and strategy for connectivity and access products. He joined MaxLinear in 2012 as Vice President of Systems Engineering. In this role, he was responsible for hardware and software product development across all products lines. Prior to MaxLinear, he was at Broadcom since 1998 and led RFIC design for all wired and wireless broadband products.
Dr. Dauphinee is also the president of the prpl Foundation where he has been promoting an open-source software platform for residential connectivity and access devices since 2020. Prior to prpl Foundation, Dr. Dauphinee served as the president of the MoCA Alliance and Home Grid Forum. He received a Ph.D. in Electronics from Carleton University and is a named inventor on over 100 issued or filed U.S. patents.
