Peter Arbitter leads the commercial organization of Aduna, the Network API joint venture backed by Ericsson and twelve of the world's leading telecom operators: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Deutsche Telekom, Telefónica, Orange, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, KDDI, Singtel, and Telstra. As CCO, his remit spans the full commercial value chain — Supply, Sales, Service, Growth/Pricing, and Marketing — for the network APIs that increasingly underpin AI applications, edge computing, and real-time network intelligence for hyperscalers and enterprises. He serves as the primary commercial interface to Aduna's shareholder C-suites and boards, while building out the partner ecosystem across hyperscalers, systems integrators, digital natives, fraud prevention specialists and aggregators.

Before Aduna, Peter spent close to three decades at the intersection of telecommunications, cloud computing, and enterprise IT, at Deutsche Telekom, Microsoft, T-Systems, and Siemens. Across these roles, he has led portfolio and product organizations in the B2B space, run software-defined network businesses through periods of structural change, and helped shape Deutsche Telekom's Magenta API initiative before it evolved into Aduna. At Microsoft Germany, he co-founded Microsoft Cloud Deutschland during the early phase of enterprise cloud adoption. Earlier still, he built T-Systems' initial cloud strategy and held senior technology and sales leadership roles at Siemens, including as CTO of its IT services division.

Across these positions, a consistent theme emerges: leading complex, often multi-stakeholder organizations — joint ventures, regulated carriers, large international business units — through periods where technology, market structure, and commercial incentives are shifting simultaneously. Peter has held board and governance roles including membership of the Deutsche Telekom Capital Investment Board and the Executive Board of DigitalEurope in Brussels.

He is the author of Cloud Computing Patterns: Fundamentals to Design, Build, and Manage Cloud (Springer, 2014) and holds degrees from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Duke University, and the University of North Carolina.
