Dr. Yue Wang is currently Chief Technologist- Next Gen ICT, at China Telecom, where she leads initiatives on transforming telecom infrastructure into intelligent, AI-native platforms, bridging the gap between foundational research and real-world network innovation at scale. Prior to joining China Telecom, Yue held leadership and research roles in the US and the UK. She served as the Head of 6G Research and subsequently Head of the Advanced Network Research Lab at Samsung Research UK, has been the Chair of the UKTIN AI Expert Working Group, and Rapporteur for ETSI ENI, where she received the ENI awards for her ‘Extraordinary Contribution’. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the O-RAN Alliance.
