Dr. Werner Robitza is the CEO and co-founder of AVEQ, the Austrian company behind Surfmeter, an automated Quality of Experience monitoring platform used by tier-1 operators including Deutsche Telekom, as well as mobile and satellite providers. Before founding AVEQ in 2018, Werner worked at Deutsche Telekom's T-Labs, where he was a principal co-author of international standards for adaptive video streaming QoE. He holds a Ph.D. from TU Ilmenau and has more than 15 years of experience in streaming media, mobile multimedia, and network measurement.
