Dr. Sarper Gokturk — VP of Innovation, Airties. Sarper leads research, design, prototyping and proof-of-concept development for Airties’ end-to-end Wi-Fi network management solutions, as well as its patent and intellectual-property portfolio. He has more than 20 years’ experience in wireless communications, is an inventor on more than 30 international patents and has published 12 academic papers. He has contributed to Wi-Fi EasyMesh and other Wi-Fi Alliance/IEEE initiatives. Since 2021 he has led the WBA Operator Managed Wi-Fi work group and serves on WBA’s Alternate Board. He previously co-founded TEA Networks and served as CTO. He holds engineering degrees from Middle East Technical University and Drexel University and a PhD in Electronics Engineering from Sabanci University.
