Philippe Sartori is Director, Engineering at InterDigital, where he leads 6G research and standardization efforts at both the RAN and system levels. His team is actively engaged in 3GPP 6G standardization, while also driving pre-standardization research beyond Day-1 6G. This work spans channel coding and modulation, semantic and neuromorphic communications, quantum communication and networking, AI and machine learning for physical-layer and system-level design, and advanced communication system architectures.

Philippe has been an active contributor to 3GPP since the LTE era, with contributions across a range of physical-layer topics including control channel design, V2X, non-terrestrial networks, and IoT. He is also active in ETSI for several pre-standardization activities. He holds over 100 patents.
