Peter Ziegelwanger has been Head of Technology & Operations in International Business of A1 Telekom Austria since April 2025, having previously served in different management roles in the Wholesale Business Unit since 2017.He is responsible for all technology and operations of international voice, messaging and data services as well as for global mobility solutions and the A1 Telekom Austria Satellite Teleport in Aflenz. He has more than 35 years’ experience in the telecommunications business.He held several executive management positions in technology and telecom operators in Western and Central Europe as well as in Central and Western Africa and was co-founder of start-ups in the Internet and telecoms sector.Peter Ziegelwanger holds a MSc in Atomic Physics from the Technical University of Vienna and has an extensive technical background in the telecommunications sector.
