Pavlos Basaras is a Senior Researcher and Technical Coordinator at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), Greece, working on AI, 5G/6G networks, network programmability and exposure, Edge/Cloud technologies, and connected mobility. He has participated in and coordinated activities across several European research and innovation projects under Horizon Europe, the SNS JU, and CEF Digital, frequently serving as Technical Project Manager. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Thessaly, Greece, and serves as Vice-Chair of ETSI SDG OpenCAPIF.
