Krishnan Venkataraghavan is Senior Manager, Network Evolution Planning at Rakuten Mobile, shaping the technology roadmap and architecture for the next generation of mobile networks. With over 16 years of experience across Rakuten Mobile, Amdocs, Ericsson and Nokia, he combines strategic direction with hands-on expertise in complex network transformation. His work spans AI-RAN, Open RAN, 5G evolution and terrestrial–satellite integration, connecting emerging technologies with the performance, efficiency and resilience demands of commercial networks. Named as an inventor on 15 granted US patents at Rakuten, he brings a record of innovation across radio, mobility and cloud architecture.
