Dr. Klaus Steinmaurer has been Executive Director for the Telecommunications and Postal Services division of Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH (Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs-GmbH) since July 1, 2019. Prior to his appointment, he was Vice President International Regulatory Affairs Europe at Deutsche Telekom AG until mid-2018, responsible for all group regulatory activities in Europe. Dr. Steinmaurer has been working in the telecommunications sector for almost 30 years. In addition to legal expertise in regulatory matters, he has also acquired broad economic and technical knowledge. He has also been active at the university for many years on a part-time basis.
