John Blackford

John Blackford is an Engineering Fellow at Vantiva focused on products for managing and controlling the connected home. He brings more than 20 years of data and telecommunications experience spanning engineering, software architecture, and product management. John leads the OB-USP-Agent open-source project, serves as Connected User Work Area Co-Director within the Broadband Forum, is a PRPL Foundation Community Board member, and chairs the Broadband Forum board of directors. He has received multiple Broadband Forum honors, including the Broadband Forum Distinguished Fellow award, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Midwestern State University.
