Chao Wu is a Senior Researcher at China Telecom, focusing on AI-native networks, device–edge–cloud collaboration, and collaboration with the broader AI industry. Prior to joining China Telecom, she conducted research on autonomous networks at NTT Laboratories.

Drawing on her experience in both industrial research and telecommunications, she also serves as a project lead in international industry and standards organizations, including TM Forum, GSMA, and ETSI. Through these roles, she drives collaborative initiatives that bridge research, standardization, and real-world deployment, contributing to the evolution of intelligent networks and the development of next-generation AI services.
