ByoungDoo Kong, General Manager of the ICT Operations Department at Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), joined in 2007 and is recognized as a leading expert in power ICT planning and operations, with nearly 19 years of experience.

Having previously served as Head of the ICT Planning Department and Leader of the Digital Transformation Team, he now oversees the planning and operations of the nation's wired and wireless power network infrastructure, the construction of data centers, and the promotion of digital transformation initiatives.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Dongguk University and a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
