Bruno Cornaglia is Fixed Access Senior Manager in Vodafone Group responsible of roadmap and innovation for all access technologies (copper, fiber and coax). Main goals reached in the past was the first worldwide NG-PON2 trial in Spain in 2015, the test of FANS (Fixed Access Network Sharing) technology developed by Broadband Forum in Ireland in 2016 and in Greece in 2018. He is now actively involved in evolving the fixed access network by using the latest technologies, like controller, disaggregation and artificial intelligence, in particular for enhanced wholesale services. Since January 2020 he is SDN/NFV (now Provider Cloud) Work Area Co-director at Broadband Forum and he was also Chairman of Fixed Broadband Project Group at Telecom Infra Project (TIP) from December 2021 to April 2025. He is author or co-author of more than 20 papers on multiple technologies
