Alessandro Fedrizzi is a professor of physics at Heriot-Watt University. He has been involved in quantum technology research for nearly twenty years, focusing on the development of pioneering quantum light sources and their application in quantum communication, sensing, and computing. Alessandro is an assistant director of the UK Integrated Quantum Networks (IQN) Hub, where he leads the entanglement networking work-package and the UK-QEYSSat collaboration.
