Afke Schaart is Executive Vice President of International Affairs at Eutelsat, where she works at the intersection of geopolitics, technology and European competitiveness, leading the company’s global government and institutional engagement. Previously, she held senior international leadership roles at Huawei in Shenzhen, the GSMA and Microsoft in Brussels, spanning strategy, public policy and corporate affairs. Earlier in her career, she worked at KPN and served as a Member of the Dutch Parliament, focusing on economic affairs, innovation and technology.
