Keenetic

Profile

Keenetic, Reliable Networks for an always connected world Keenetic is a European company specializing in the development of networking solutions designed to guarantee operational continuity, security, and ease of management. In a context where connection is no longer just a service, but a strategic infrastructure, Keenetic works to offer stable and high-performance networks, both in the domestic and professional spheres, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. Among its main targets are Internet Service Providers.

Since its inception, there have been more than 11 million Keenetic solution activations worldwide, and last year the company recorded significant growth compared to the previous year (+40%). The company has its European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany, where software development, R&D, marketing, and commercial support activities for the entire network of European partners are concentrated. The company invests approximately 10% of its turnover in research and development, with a dedicated team of 50 specialists and over 8,000 development hours per month. A strategic choice that allows it to maintain full technological control over hardware and software and guarantee continuity and autonomy in the long term.

Keenetic is a member of the Wi-Fi Alliance and a sponsor of the Let’s Encrypt project, confirming its constant commitment to open standards, security, and interoperability.

KeeneticOS, the heart of the ecosystem KeeneticOS is the core of all Keenetic devices. A proprietary modular operating system, developed internally and capable of supporting the entire range of products on the market.

In a context often linked to standardized solutions proposed by chipset manufacturers, Keenetic has chosen an independent approach, based on an evolved and personalized OpenWrt architecture. This allows for direct control over the performance, security, and lifecycle of the devices, offering advanced functionalities without license costs or subscription models.

KeeneticOS allows the network to be configured and managed flexibly, through a secure web interface also accessible remotely, with a personalized domain and SSL connection. Features can be activated modularly, adapting the device to the user's real needs, both domestic and professional.

Constant updates and impact on sustainability

Networks evolve rapidly, as do security and compatibility needs. This is why all Keenetic devices receive at least five years of guaranteed software updates.

Each new version of the operating system introduces security improvements, new features, and support for newer technologies and peripherals. The release process is structured and gradual, with around 8,000 tests for each update and a multi-stage distribution, in order to monitor stability and intervene promptly if necessary.

This approach allows for the reduction of obsolescence, extending the useful life of devices and contributing to a more sustainable model of technological innovation.

Remote management and centralized control

Among the pillars of Keenetic's offering are remote management tools and the free RMM Cloud, which allow networks to be monitored and administered remotely.

Through the mobile app for iOS and Android or the web interface, it is possible to intervene on the configuration, analyze traffic, manage connected devices, and ensure operational continuity. A concrete advantage for SMEs with multiple offices, system integrators, and territorial ISPs who need reliable and centralized tools.

Each device can also be used as a private cloud space via external USB support, offering local storage and backup solutions under the user's full control.

Keenetic in Europe

Keenetic aims to significantly consolidate its presence in a key market for the multinational's growth, and in this perspective, the appointment of Luigi Salmoiraghi as the new Head of European Development is crucial.

Salmoiraghi, a graduate in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan, completed his education at SDA Bocconi and ESADE Barcelona. He boasts ten years of experience in networking, in strategic roles, with a particular focus on the development of new marketing and sales strategies and brand positioning.

The strategy is based on some key concepts: the construction of a solid distribution network, already well underway thanks to the pan-European agreement with a player of the caliber of Ingram Micro; the focus on medium-sized Internet Service Providers; the launch of a channel program designed to offer all partners the services and tools necessary to grow together; the construction of a new brand image to be used consistently across all European markets.

The goal is to achieve a market share equal to or greater than 15% in all reference countries by 2028.

Keenetic Partner Programme

Keenetic has officially launched its European channel program, a project designed to strengthen and make collaboration with resellers and system integrators even more effective. The program was created with the aim of offering concrete tools, exclusive advantages, and continuous support to all professionals who choose to work with Keenetic technology, thus helping to build a solid and competitive channel. The heart of the project is the portal partner.keenetic.com, a digital platform designed to simplify every phase of the relationship with the company through a construction that is constantly evolving and, above all, shared by all actors involved. An ecosystem designed not only for partners, but with partners, to ensure that each of them can feel like an active protagonist of this path, contributing to improving tools, content, and opportunities based on the real needs of the market and the community.

From a practical point of view, within this space, partners find a complete and intuitive environment where they can access all the latest product guides, case studies, reserved price lists, and exclusive promotions designed to increase their competitiveness. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain pre-sales technical support and directly contact their dedicated commercial reference person, always available at every stage of the project. The implementation of further functionalities is planned for the near future for access to advanced technical documentation, specific training to support sales and installation activities, and the possibility of requesting product tests directly online.

The program provides for two levels of partnership, Hero and Titan, which can be accessed regardless of the company's size and turnover, with the aim of primarily valuing commitment and involvement.

CSR - the “Safe Mood On” project

“Safe Mood On” is the CSR project launched by Keenetic in collaboration with FARE X BENE ETS, an association that supports and protects the inviolable rights of individuals, particularly the weakest social categories.

The initiative was created with the aim of offering young people and their families concrete tools to live the digital reality in a conscious, safe, and respectful way.

The first pillar of the project is the launch of a double Manifesto – one dedicated to parents and one to children – articulated in 12 practical principles for each part, addressing central themes such as respect, individual responsibility, privacy, intergenerational dialogue, and balance between online and offline life.

The project will then continue with the active involvement of Keenetic's commercial partners, retailers, and distributors, as true ambassadors of the initiative, through training materials for staff, thematic displays in stores, and in-store events dedicated to customers.

Starting from the next school year (2026/2027), an educational program will be launched in secondary schools with the aim of consolidating a culture of respect and digital responsibility. The path will culminate in the definition of a “Digital Pact” between parents and children, designed to translate the principles of the Manifesto into shared daily practices.
