Romain Bonenfant heads since 2023 Fédération Française des Télécoms, the organization representing and promoting the interests of the telecommunications industry in France. Its 20 members are telecom operators active across the whole value chain: MNOs/MVNOs, infrastructure and commercial operators, B2B/B2C activities.

With an engineering background, Romain Bonenfant started his career in European institutions. He worked in various positions in the public sector, in competition policy, telecom regulation and industrial policy.
