Radwa Rawoof is Director of Network & Cloud Transformation at TELUS, with over 12 years of experience in internet architecture, network DevOps, and large-scale service innovation. She has contributed directly to the evolution of IP core and access networks across Canada, with deep expertise in IP networking, peering, managed services, and SDN/NFV technologies.
Previously, Radwa played a key role in launching Canada’s first SD-WAN service and led initiatives in VNF orchestration, LTE usage optimization, and the development of automation frameworks that improved SD-WAN reliability, uptime, and operational efficiency. In her current role, she leads teams responsible for IP core evolution, broadband access, mobility and OSS DevOps, IPv6 adoption, and open network transformation. Her focus includes integrating open standards, implementing telemetry-based observability, and enabling AI-driven operations. She is also involved in driving metric-based performance optimization and scalable service delivery across TELUS networks.
Radwa holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University and a Bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering from VTU India. She is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario and MEF SDCP-certified. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she is committed to mentoring the next generation of engineers through her work with Professional Engineers Ontario and McMaster Engineering Alumni.
