Profile
Mirko Cano Soveri has an experience of more than 20 years in Telecommunications. He started his career working for telecom operators in Madrid: Vodafone, British Telecom and Telefonica. It was in the latter where he first got acquainted with standardization. He joined TNO in the Netherlands in 2009, where he participated in standardization projects for the local operator, KPN. In 2012 he joined ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) where he provided support for technical groups on security and management in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). He is now Director of the Networks, Systems and Security department in ETSI since 2023.
