Mario Di Dio is the General Manager of Network at Helium, where he leads the development and lifecycle of core network products powering the world’s largest decentralized wireless network serving more than 1.5 million users daily in the US. His work spans LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi, with a focus on improving connectivity, efficiency, and user experience. Before Helium, Mario held leadership positions at CableLabs, Kyrio, and Artemis Networks, and contributed to European Space Agency and EU-funded satellite communications projects. He is the author of several issued U.S. and international patents and has published numerous scientific papers in the telecommunications field. He is a frequent speaker and media contributor, sharing insights on decentralized wireless and the expansion of the DePIN ecosystem across conferences, publications, and podcasts.
