Julien Meuric graduated from the French engineering school “Ecole Nationale Superieure des Sciences Appliquees et de Technologie" (ENSSAT). After various activities on packet networks, he joined Orange Labs (France) in 2004, where he has worked on metropolitan and optical transport networks. As a standardization senior manager, he has been personally involved for more than 15 years in standardization within various IETF working groups, focusing mainly on GMPLS control protocols as well as data models for optical networking and packet-optical integration. Besides technical contributions, he has been acting since 2009 in the IETF as a co-chairman of the Path Computation Element (PCE) working group, and was involved in some PCE-related European projects. He has been an "Orange Expert on Future Networks" since 2015.
