Haomian Zheng is the software standard expert in Huawei Optical Product Line. He works in the optical network architecture, control and management standard, contributes in the protocol and data model works. He is currently the Work Area Directors of SDN/NFV in Broadband Forum (BBF), Associate Rapporteur of Question 12 (Transport network architectures) in ITU-T Study Group 15, and serves as the Chair of Routing Area Directorate and secretary of CCAMP working group in Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

Haomian received his Bachelor of Information Engineering in Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2006, MPhil of Electrical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008, and Ph.D. of Computing from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2012.
