Head of Optical Transport Product Line Management at Ekinops

As optical transport product line manager, Frederic is in charge of the WDM solutions within the Ekinops 360 portfolio. His role is to steer the WDM solutions and their evolutions, in order to provide the best products answering the customer’s requirements and able to address market applications from access/enterprise to DCI, metro and long-haul. This relies on a comprehensive knowledge of the major evolutions arising in the transport ecosystem, concerning optical technologies, network design and architecture, but also taking into account the increasing importance of software and associated requirement for automation.

Frederic has over 25 years of experience in the telecom industry. Prior to joining Ekinops, he held several positions within Orange service provider, and especially he was head of the wireline transmission team in charge of the WDM equipment policy for the whole Orange group (managing RFPs, recommending evolutions of existing networks, assessing opportunities of new solutions).

Frederic is graduated from Polytech school as engineer in physics. He also holds a DEA degree in physics for electronics.
