Farid holds a Computer Science PhD from Université Pierre et Marie Curie and has a strong background in mobile communications. After completing a post-doctoral position at Orange Labs, where he worked on Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), he joined Thales 16 years ago as a researcher. At Thales, Farid specialized in mobile communications in constrained environments, content delivery, and direct communications. Three years ago, he co-founded Hopcast, a company dedicated to innovating content delivery via direct device-to-device communications.
