Bhushan Padhiar is part of the broadband access strategy team at AT&T, where he leads the next-generation technology roadmap and collaborates with industry standards organizations and researchers to drive technology development. He plays an active role in broadband standardization, serving as Vice Chair of the Full-Service Access Network (FSAN) group and as an editor for the ITU supplement on Very High Speed PON (VHSP), which advances Next-Generation PON technologies beyond 50GS-PON. Bhushan holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, where his research focused on programmable networks. With over a decade of experience in various access technologies, Bhushan is dedicated to shaping the future of broadband and delivering innovative solutions that enable multi-gigabit connectivity for both wireless and wireline networks through advanced optical technologies.
