Bernd Hesse is a veteran entrepreneur and industry expert in optical access networks and PON technologies, with over 25 years of leadership in the global broadband industry. As EVP at Lambda Networks, he drives strategic partnerships with Tier-1 operators, hyperscalers, and system vendors worldwide.

He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Broadband Forum (BBF) and as its Chief Marketing Officer, where he founded the global Broadband Acceleration Seminar (BASe) program and the Executive Advisory Board (EAB).
