Alessandro Fedrizzi is a Professor in Physics at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, and a co-director of the UK Integrated Quantum Networks (IQN) Research Hub. He has more than twenty years of experience in quantum photonics research for quantum communications and networking, including for terrestrial and satellite applications.
