BETTER STANDS
Through our commitment to the evolution of the events industry, we aim to ensure that we are delivering the best possible experience for our customers. That is why, we at Informa, have created the industry-wide campaign Better Stands.
Better Stands focuses on uniting exhibitors, contractors and the wider event industry to move away from disposable, single-use stands at our events, in favour of reusable structures. We believe that by moving away from the use of disposable stands we will improve the ease, quality, safety and sustainability of the exhibitor experience at our events.
Following up on steps already taken at previous editions and informing the exhibitors and stand contractors about Better Stands, this year we are moving forward and will require all space-only stands to at least reach a Bronze Level.

SUBMIT YOUR STAND PLAN
We have appointed BLG Events to manage the stand plan submission and approval process for this year's event.
BLG Events will be responsible for collecting all stand plan submissions, reviewing submissions, providing feedback to clients and submitting files for final checks.
Please review the below prior to submission of files.
All files need to be submitted to BLG Events no later than 7th August 2026.
SUBMIT YOUR STAND DESIGN & H&S PACK
Health & Safety at our shows is extremely important to keep EVERYONE safe. We enforce strict rules & regulations for all exhibiting companies to ensure a safe working environment and for the safety of our attendees.
DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW
Contractors should follow the below steps in order for us to grant permission to build:
- Review the STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS for signing off stands
- Review BETTER STANDS
- Read the following thoroughly before starting the design:
WHAT TO SUBMIT
- Complete pages 32-43 of the HANDBOOK which includes a risk assessment, method statement, declaration & sustainability questionnaire.
- Sign the Contractor Disclaimer before 25th September.
- Provide detailed stand plans for your space that adhere to the above.
- Documents indicating adequate cover for product insurance, employee and public liability.
- It is essential that you take out adequate employee, public liability and product insurance against personal injury, damage to or loss of exhibits, etc. The limit requirement is not less than £2,000,000 per occurrence. It may be possible for you to extend your existing insurance to cover the event.
Please submit all H&S and design documents for your stand to BLG Events by 7th August 2026 (Friday).

DEADLINE & REMINDERS
DEADLINE
The deadline to submit all files is 7th August (Friday).
REMINDERS
Should your design be classed as complex you will be expected to provide structural calculations at your own expense.
If your documents have not been submitted, or are not completed to an appropriate standard, Informa organizers reserve the right to refuse build/admission to the show or ask you/your stand contractor (if applicable) to resubmit the form with further information.
If your stand plans and H&S pack have not been submitted by the deadline set, Informa organizers reserve the right to refuse build/admission to the show.

AUSTRIA TRUCK DRIVING BAN
Please be aware that Austria imposes truck driving bans. Detailed information is provided below:
Weekend driving ban
This applies throughout Austria from Saturday, 15:00 to Sunday, 22:00 and on public holidays from midnight until 22:00. The ban applies to :
- Lorries with trailers, if the maximum permissible weight (mpw) of the lorry or the trailer is more than 3.5t.
- Lorries, articulated lorries, and self-propelled agricultural machines with an mpw of more than 7.5t.
General night-time driving ban
This applies on all Austrian roads for heavy goods vehicles with more than 7.5t mpw between 22:00 and 05:00.

VENUE SERVICES
StandOut Webshop is the official venue services platform for Network X 2026. If you require any of the following services, you must place your order via this webshop.

10th September; Orders placed after this date will be subject to 25% late surcharge and availability.
POWER
Power is not included in your package, make sure you place your order for the event duration if required.
The current power package listed in the webshop covers the entire event period, including event days, as well as build and dismantle phases during the specified event hours. If you require a 24-hour power supply, please order a separate continuous power supply, which is limited to a 2kW capacity.
RIGGING
Hanging points and pre-rigs are exclusively provided by StandOut. The deadline to order rigging is 28th August. Please note that a 25% surcharge will be applied to orders placed after the deadline, and these will be subject to availability.

WASTE MANAGEMENT
As a reminder, we have strict waste policy. Any materials left in the halls will be photographed and the relevant contractor/exhibitor will be fined for the waste accordingly.

IMPORTANT:
- Please do not send any packages direct to the venue by post or courier, as the venue do not accept direct shipping.
- Storage during the event is only available if you have placed a handling & storage order with DHL.
Informa cannot be held responsible for the shipping of any equipment, nor are they responsible for the collection and receipt of any deliveries.
LOAD-IN APPLICATION
To improve safety and ensure smooth operations during load in and load out, it is mandatory to register all vehicles requiring access to the loading bay with DHL. More information to follow closer to event time.
Vehicles are granted access to the loading bay with allocated timeslots. Every truck driver gets a ticket to open the gate when entering the loading bay. The ticket is valid for 3 hours. If the truck driver stays more than 3 hours on the premises a fine of EUR 100 will be charged. Therefore, as soon as loading/unloading is finalized, the vehicles must leave the loading bay.
The logistics traffic plan for Messe Wien can be found here. For access during set-up and dismantling, please use Gate 1 at Trabrennstraße 5 at the back of Hall D.
There is no parking available for trucks at the fairground. To find the nearest parking options, you can use the Asfinag app here

YOUR STAND - SPACE ONLY RECOMMENDED CONTRACTOR
You will be provided with a raw space on the exhibition floor. It is your responsibility to utilize and build in this space. Please check your contract for the exact size of your floor space and plan accordingly.

Messe Wien is conveniently accessible through various modes of transport, with both Informa and Messe Wien strongly advocating for sustainable mobility. The venue is served by the following transport options:

CODE OF CONDUCT

Please be considerate and careful with your words and actions. Exhibitors in the expo hall, evening party hosts and organizers of concurrent activities should be aware they are subject to the code of conduct. Exhibitors and party hosts may not promote sexualized or offensive imagery or activities. Exhibition and party staff should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment. Participants asked to stop any behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant or sponsor engages in behavior that violates this code of conduct, Informa staff may take action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.
SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is increasingly important to event attendees. Exhibiting at an Informa event allows you to highlight your company’s sustainability credentials and align with an event that champions sustainability.
To ensure that your company and exhibiting stand are aligned with Informa’s sustainability goals, please review the Exhibitor Sustainability Checklist and consider the steps as you plan your event.
If you have a space only stand, you must ensure that your stand is compliant with Informa’s Better Stands programme as detailed in the Exhibitor Service Manual and reaches at least a Bronze Level.
VIDEOGRAPHY & PHOTOGRAPHY
By registering for this event you acknowledge recordings, video, and photographs are being taken during the event. By you entering this event, you give unqualified consent to: Informa, its agents, licensees to record, use and publicise your voice, actions, likeness, and appearance, in any manner and media, worldwide in perpetuity. If you wish to avoid being recorded, please do not enter this event.
DATA PROTECTION
Informa does not sell, nor distribute, attendee contact information in accordance with established privacy policies. Any company claiming to have such information to sell is not affiliated with Informa, and do not have access to our confidential records.
