Rajesh (Raj) Chundury is a telecom industry professional with 25 years of experience spanning Wireline, Wireless, IP Transport, Software Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization, and Open-Source technologies at fora such as ONF, ONAP, LFN, and O-RAN. Raj is currently the CTO/VP Customer Solutions – Broadband Access business unit at Radisys, where he enables open telecom solutions for operators around the globe.  Prior to his current role, Raj spent 23 years at Ericsson, beginning in research and development and advancing to customer-facing roles collaborating with wireless and wireline customers like AT&T, T-Mobile USA, and Sprint to design and deploy 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. Raj graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with an MS in Computer Science and co-authored “The Journey Toward Software Defined Passive Optical Networks with Multi-PON Technology: An Industry View”, published in the Journal of Optical Communications and Networking (August 2021 edition).
