Phil Lockett

Phil Lockett is driving business improvement and programme management activities supporting 5G/IOT networks and solutions for Division X with BT’s Enterprise business. Phil joined BT as a graduate in Electronic Engineering and has 30 years-experience in working across network planning, capacity management, and business transformation in products, networks and IT across BT Group.  Phil was heavily involved in the initial volume industrialisation of Broadband with BT and Openreach in the UK and high bandwidth Ethernet services.   Phil joined Division X from BT Group’s Openreach business where he was the Senior Manager for the Service Delivery Transformation Programme Office delivering people, process and systems improvements over the 13k strong field workforce.  His current role is leading transformation and planning for 5G Private Networks, including product launches and business improvement in Division X in BT Enterprise.  He holds an MSc in Telecoms from the University of London and is an active Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a Chartered Engineer.
