Per Kangru

Per Kangru is part of the EMEA CTO office, with decades of experience in telecoms and is responsible for strategic alliances and partnerships to expand the VIAVI addressable market. Focused on Network and Services Operations Automation (incl. ETSI ZSM),  4G/5G Private Networks and partnerships with systems integrators around the OpenRAN / O-RAN ecosystem as well as supporting strategic customer engagements for new innovations. He is a Co-Author of the popular 5G text book – Understanding 5G – A Practical Guide ot Deploying and Operating 5G Networks.  Per is based in Sweden, where he and his family enjoy downhill skiing and mountain biking in the countryside there throughout the year.
