Paul Slot

Paul Slot has been with KPN since 2006. Nowadays he is EVP of KPN Network. He has pursued a lengthy career within KPN. He, initially joined KPN Corporate Market, the leading telecommunications and IT service provider in The Netherlands, as IT Director.  Starting from there he has fulfilled roles of increasing responsibility  which among other lead to his appointment as CIO for KPN Corporate Market  through 2012. After this he became Vice President of Information Technology Operations with KPN NetCo in 2012.  As such he implemented  the company's strategy to ‘strengthen, simplify and grow’ the business as the KPN infrastructure is of vital importance to the organization’s success. In 2015, Paul was appointed  Executive Vice President of ICT Management. In this function he was responsible for both  Operations of all internal IT as well as  for KPN’s Network and Mobile Operations. In 2017 Paul has been appointed Executive Vice President KPN Infrastructure, with full responsibility for all of KPN’s infrastructure (Network, Mobile and IT). Paul currently leads the KPN TDO Network organization.   Prior to KPN, Paul worked in various international roles for companies like Sybase and PricewaterhouseCoopers. During his five years at Sybase, he was responsible for the European IT Organization and Global IT Operations. Paul is also chairman of ETIS, the European association of Telecom Operators.
