Chris is a successful international business executive with over 30 years’ experience of leading growth businesses in wireless, internet and cloud sectors.   Chris has spent 18 years in the Wi-Fi Service Provider business: including CEO BT Openzone Wi-Fi, Chair of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (on the Board for 10 years) and MD GlobalReach Technology (Wi-Fi roaming and authentication specialists). Chris is a recognised thought leader in the development of international Wi-Fi roaming and cellular to Wi-Fi convergence, with an extensive personal network in this space.  Chris is an experienced practitioner in developing winning business models to leverage price arbitrage between cellular and Wi-Fi costs. Chris now acts as an independent Board Advisor, strategy consultant and Non-Executive Board Director for dynamic companies in wireless, IOT and innovation. Current clients include three Wi-Fi Network Operators (in UK, Japan and Germany), two Wi-Fi vendors and a provider of major rural events requiring Satellite based Wi-Fi and IoT. Prior to this Chris held many international leadership roles including: Director BT Advise Consulting to international Telcos, Sales & Marketing Director Telfort NL Business Mobile, VP Channel BT Ignite Hosting, Non-Executive Director Inet Spa (Italian Web hosting leader and Marketing Manager Ericsson UK. At BT Global Services, Chris led a team of Telecom Consultants addressing the Global Telco sector for wholesale, consulting services and transformation projects for international Telecom customers in the Americas, Asia, Middle East and Africa.
